More grading lunacy

Post by rjd65 » Thu Aug 18, 2016 8:28 am

Remark: I chose this coin since it is a key date and as such is ripe for abuse. This coin is not VF. It is a Fine. Even with ZIRP/negative interest rates and the resulting obscene asset price appreciation (except coins) over the last few years, the seller will be waiting quite some time to attain 2 Very Large in US $ - when/if the time value of money catches up or the US $ collapses. A collapse of the asset bubble will drive down a reasonable price for this coin (plus every other coin) even lower. Cheers, RD

Hi,

I agree this coin is of grade F-12. There is too much wear to even make it a F-15.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
