Hi There,
I’m trying to determine if this 1953 nickel is NSF, SF, Near, Far, and if it’s missing chrome. Also the grade? I have no idea; it’s the first one I’ve found in my giant tub of coins that isn’t shaped like other nickels (there might be more). Any tips?
Thanks!
Which 1953 nickel is this?

It's an SF and not missing any chrome except that which has been worn off/removed.

And this is the Near variety. There are pictures at the bottom of this page:

I would grade this coin VG-10 or F-12 at best.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
