Grading help for 1883H Canadian 5 cents

Post by tron48 » Fri May 12, 2017 8:12 pm

I am requesting help grading this 1883H Canadian 5 cent coin. I'm pretty sure
that it is in the VF grade. Since VF coins have a wide range, VF20 to VF39,
I would be interested in your opinion of the grading number. Also, please
describe why you gave it the grading number you did.

VF20
Moderate overall wear and laurel leaves too worn for higher grade.

VF-20, maybe a little less. The heavy cleaning would surely drop it to F-15

F15. Too many issues to go VF. Not a pretty coin.

F-15. Way too much hair and eyebrow loss
