1954 one dollar bill

Post by geses » Mon Mar 18, 2013 6:35 am

hi i found this 1954 bill that I have had for ever.
But recently I pulled it out and noticed that it seemed
to be fat on one end, skinny on the other
and one side to be slightly slanted.
I looked it up it seems to be a " Out of Register Printing "
Thoughts?
does it have any value?

Looks like it. Could be more "off center" to worth something really interesting.

The left margin is definitely larger than the right margin. It the note was off centre and actually contained a portion of the adjoining note it would be worth keeping, but what you have would be considered an undesirable quality in a banknote because it lacks eye appeal. Most paper money collectors prefer a note with eye appeal and this unfortunately does not have it. If it was an error note it would be a different story,
