Hello, I'm new to the forum and was hoping someone could give me an idea on the value of 50 - 1954 $1 notes would be worth as a set. Bright and Crisp Non-cir.
many thanks

Re: 50 - 1954 $1 Notels Sequential
I don't pursue Canadian paper currency anymore, but I do recall Lawson-Bouey to be the last signatures of the 1954 series-- the last before the monopoly money was issued in 1973 iirc. That said, I figured (A) that thousands upon thousands of these ones were stashed away because everyone knew they'd be the last, and.. (B) the Lawson-Bouey signatures on the 1954 series weren't around for a particularly long time so you'd assume they'd be somewhat more scarce than those of previous BoC Governors.
Good thing this site has a guide to help me out... Price Guide - Issues of 1954
You wouldn't happen to have any replacement/asterisk notes in your series, would you?

Cheers

Most people don't pay a premium for sequential notes....
If you had the 7483748... or the 7483847 there are those collectors who would pay a premium for those serial numbers.. on is a repeater the other a radar...
On a good day... you may get $1.50 or $2.00 per note...
