1979 5$ Test Bill

Post by EJG » Mon Feb 26, 2018 6:28 pm

Hey Guys,

Wondering if anyone can grade this online to give me an idea at what i'm looking at. To my knowledge its a 5 dollars 1979 - Lawson-Bouey - Serial starting with 330 test bill. Wondering the grade value and how rare are these? Should i spend the time and money to get this professionally graded? If i do get it prof. Graded will it increase the value of it?

Thanks.
Eric.

troubadour said it looks like VF/EF to me. That is what i was looking guessing. Now million dollar question. I'm new to the world of collecting coins and paper money. Now does grading work like hockey cards where you grade a card and the higher the grade the more its worth, up and above the book value?
