TPG Major Difference

Check out the difference on this one. Didn't even get an Original designation. Not sure what PCGS was thinking.

Honestly, I've submitted notes right from bricks which got an UNC 64 from BCS with no "Original." When I called Steve Bell he said it had a scratch on the polymer substrate. I have to take his word for it. But I also know of a US collector who bought an "Original" 58 Devil's Face $5 that got no PPQ from PCGS but UNC 64. My point is: that while TPG's want everyone to believe that they're all using the same standards, they're still people who make slight mistakes. I don't get too worked up over TPG numbers. I can't do it.

Exactly. It shows how subjective grading can be. Like the saying goes: Buy the note, not the holder.

And I can't do it either :lol:
