Bank Searching

Has anyone ever or found anything searching banks? I coin roll hunt myself, and have found a few voyageur dollars. I will ask today and see. However I know that they get submitted to be shredded.

I used to "recycle" cash at a few of my favourite branches but have really backed off in the last couple of years (mainly due to Covid & also due to the high # of new staff in training). Many of the new staff take forever to change up (or down) small amounts (like $2000 or 100X $20.00). It tends to be ultra time consuming with such tiny gains (a raggedy radar once a year or so if you do it weekly) that its not really worth my time.

There is this collector on another forum who is a diehard at hitting up the scrap pouches at his branches & taking whatever they give him with great appreciation. I tried to get access to their returns/damaged pouches & it was near impossible (so I gave up). He seems to be a master at it & goes by "Dean."
