Yea .. it was a dyslexic typo .. he meant the 1859. I've already got 2 emails back from him in response to mine. His first says "Where's your proof that it's not a brass one. I told him my credentials with Charlton and as co-author of the CNJ articles on the brass cent. He wrote back that his coin varies in weight and diameter. I told him that any coin with wear won't be what is put in the books ... however, both his readings were within tolerance at the time. He's trying to get a newbie to bite, I think.
