Congrates on producing such a great web site and a question

Post by wiser3 » Thu Sep 04, 2008 7:49 am

Great web site! Looks great (although i wish you designed for a 1024 wide screen instead of 800), feels great, and the content is top notch. I look forward to seeing it grow and prosper.

Where does the pricing information come from and how often will it be updated?

Thx!

I just send you a pm about it, but I will repeat it here for everyone:

All prices and values in the Price Guide are updated/will be once a year, but not at the same time. Depends on the time I got each week/each month.

The note Old list in the Price Guide Page means that these prices are 2002 prices. The others, without the Old list mark were updated between June 1st, 2008 and August 31, 2008.

Where these prices come from ? Different factors:
1. The average of others publication like the trend, charlton, haxby book, charest, etc.
2. Different auctions
3. People I know and my personal opinion and experience

The Price Guide is here for them who don't have any books in his hands. We don't try to replace the Charlton or any other publication. This Price Guide exists to help people who don't know a lot about coins collecting.

It's pretty good, but there's always room for improvement.
