Very rare coin, good condition for a circulated coin. Standard Toonie weighs 7.32 Grams and this Toonie weighs 7.69 Grams.

Unless this was certified... this coin has 11' pole written all over it.

My understanding of the process of how the inner core is placed and stamped inside the outter core to create the inner rim, leads me to believe that either my understanding of the process is wrong or this coin has been altered

Shylo ... you've stolen one of my favorite phrases when describing some errors that show up on the coin sites. I, too, think that it has 11' pole marks all over it. If the last photo is actually of them side-by-side, then the regular toonie is larger than the nickel-colored one.

This comment also made me look at my own history of comments.. and found this:

My spidey senses are already tingling! I wouldn't touch that coin with YOUR ten foot pole!

I know I had used a similar phrase on CCF as well... probably around the same time...

Please just be amused and not upset..and if ever our paths should cross... I own you one two or ten bevies of your choice!

P.S. I had been reading all my posts.... you were a very significant influence .... I simply started out as a "paper" guy with the occasional note... but then i got started on large cents.. then vickies... then it just imploded!

Anyways... just wanted to say.. thanks.. this journey has been a joy and you were one of those that guided me down this path.. I sincerely do appreciate it!

I was just "funnin" you. That phrase/description has been around longer than I've been alive and I'm pretty old. I think that it makes people thik about what it means and some people still don't understand it.
