Rare 1965 Large Beads Points 5
Re: Rare 1965 Large Beads Points 5
Sorry Rick, that's a large beads-blunt 5. The pointed 5 has a much sharper point than blunt 5. I know-- because I've been searching for the 1965 1 cent small beads, and both blunt and pointed varieties elude me for some odd reason.
Cheers

I don't know about that, here a photo of the blunt5 I was using the 5 and how far the blunt 5 is recessed into the 5 heres the pointed 5 which is pretty even or a little past the 5 and heres mind the blunt 5 has a shorter 5 then the pointed 5 hopefully more people will show-up and give an opinion too

It looks like a blunt 5 to me as well. You can also tell by the tail, which is almost horizontal. The crispness of the strike and no wear will make some blunts look like pointed ones, but the pointeds have a much larger rake/angle on them
