Two sets of sequenticial 1 dollar 1973 bills

Post by Grant » Mon Dec 10, 2018 6:45 pm

I have several old bank notes but am particulary curious about two pairs of sequential 1973 notes GUNC Lawson Bouey OS6906129 and .........130 also Replacement notes Lawson Bouey *mm6832347 and ....348, am retired and looking to sell these and others but could not find the OS prefix listed, I did see the replacements but no price if any different for sequential notes. Help appreciated.

Hi Grant-
Welcome to the Coins and Canada website.
You say the four notes you have are graded GUNC. I take it then they have been certified.
To answer your questions, the OS Prefix notes have a book value of $4.00 each in GUNC.
As far as sequential notes , on modern notes there is very little if any premium for them.

Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks, I saw the *mm GUNC could be up to 110$ is this correct? I haven't had them officially graded but followed the guide on this site, they have absolutely no faults folds etc. In my opinion they are crisp, clear clean and perfect, kept in a hard case since 1973. Thanks, I also have some 20$ from the 1954 series, three are also in great condition but may not match the GUNC cut off. But darn close if not, I cant post a picture regardless of format says file toolarge but they are perfect.
