1982 Canadian Dollar - Constitution
Could someone please tell me about this coin and whether it's of value?

It's just worth a dollar here in Canada. It is made of pure nickel, not silver and I think that the mint had some subtraction problems, since it commemorates the 115th anniversary of the constitution. I think that they wanted to make it the 225th anniversary, but that didn't happen. Give it to the paperboy/girl. The only way that it's worth more than a dollar is if it is in "coinage" alignment between the Obverse and Reverse. If you hold the coin in front of you, looking at it, and see if the 2 sides are both upright and easily read if you rotate it left to right. If they are both upright, then you have the common one worth a dollar. If one is upside down, after rotating left to right, then it's worth thousands of $$$$.
