1954, 1974 $2 Test Notes
I picked up 2 $2 test notes in circulated condition. I know they are rough looking but now I can say I have one of each for my collection. I always say buy what you can afford and don't break the bank. LOL

Re: 1954, 1974 $2 Test Notes
William, if you like Test notes then I hope you have a copy of Charlton since there's a few prefixes (E/R & N/R) discovered with specific serial number ranges. G/R is the ultimate tough one for Beattie Rasminsky (S/R the most common with 2.2 million released) & the Bouey-Rasminsky & Lawson-Bouey S/R test notes being the toughest under 300K each (next to the new prefixes & G/R).
The thing about the recently discovered prefixes is that a lot of coin dealers won't bother searching their junk bins for these notes so prizes are to be found for next to nothing (if you know the Serial number ranges). I've seen another veteran post a G/R note he got on eBay for a good price (seller didn't know it was a tough Test note).
Even non-test 1954 prefixes have a small premium. The easiest (& most common) Test is the 1974. I have 2 (one I bought from a large collection i purchased in VF condition as shown below).
