1922 Canada Chartered Bank

Postby staygold678 » Wed Jun 20, 2018 2:06 pm

Hi guys,

Looking for some insight on a bank note that I have come into possession of. See attached file of the photo.

I have not been able to find any other for sale online except for The Shopping Channel https://www.theshoppingchannel.com/Bank-of-Canada/Historic-Banknotes/1922-Canada-National-Bank-10-Chartered-Specimen-GEM-Uncirculated-65/pages/productdetails?nav=R:642602,N:2070620,E:11933323 which kind of worries me. Are the bills they sell authentic? I am not familiar with the company whom graded the bank note, "Canadian Coin & Currency", does anyone know if they are credible?

Any ideas on a value on this note?

Thanks for all the help,
Mike

Both the bill and the grader are genuine.
CCC is Canada's largest seller of coins and currency
who sometimes grade their own coins and bills.
Incidentally, Steven Bromberg, the host on TLC is
also the owner of CCC.
Hard to put a value on it but looking at what others
are going for, I think it would probably be worth $350.00
to $400.00.
