Canada 5 Cents 1906 "large 6"? etc.

Here, in the images below may be a candidate for publication similar in character to the 1907 5 cent previously submitted. The 5 cent 1906 subject coin appears to be what I refer to as a “large 6”. It appears at the bottom to align with the two adjacent numerals in the date (the 1 is somewhat offset...

Re: Canada 5 Cents 1907 High 7?

Value aside, C&C appears to recognize the existence of a low date 1907. They do no t however, provide an image of said low date. Thought if they were aware of the existence of a high date 1907, they might acknowledge its existence in the webpage text and use my image as well. Many thanks for respond...

Canada 5 Cents 1907 High 7?

The subject coin 1907, imaged below, appears to be an example of a High 7. This does not appear to be a known variety on the C&C website. Anyone have this in their collection? All comments welcome. Re: New Brunswick 1 cent variety?

Thanks guys for responding. Please note below images of the obverse die clashing, weak ‘S’ in ‘Brunswick’ and incomplete leaf on the obverse to further identify the particular dies responsible for the subject coin. Should a higher grade example show up in the future it might be possible to give a de...

New Brunswick 1 cent variety?

This 1864 New Brunswick cent appears to exhibit a short 6 punched over a tall 6 (see images below). My library on New Brunswick is out of date. Is the subject coin possibly a new variety? 1899 5 cents, high 9s

Apologies for the late response. Thought to supply several images of the ‘99s derived from the COINSANDCANADA website and my subject coin. The first is the image at the top of the webpage for the 1899 5 cents. It appears to show the 9s high, with the second 9 higher than the first. 5-cents-1899_COIN...

Canada 50 Cents, 1871 variety?

This 1871 appears to exhibit defective letters. Images are supplied illustrating the losses and have not to my knowledge been shown previously. They may have been considered too minor to mention? I am possibly out of date and they have appeared elsewhere. The anomalies below appear on the same subje...
