Randy, The Queen's portrait on the Canadian coins of the 1970's,especially the 50c. coins are in very high relief, which is why the ghosting occurs from time to time.It is the similar sort of problem that occurs on the King George V coinage of Great Britain. Can you please get in touch with me? You c...

Randy, That's not called a die clash, but to see ghosting on Canadian nickel 50c. coins is still a very interesting thing though. By the way,did you get my PM telling you that you need to update your link for the British Commonwealth Numismatic Forum,& telling you that there is no longer a Britis...

That's why you reset your forum like 200 times ? Even if you think it doesn't make sense, I won't change anything for now. Lightw4re, I've had to shift my forum 3 times,as I had a lot of problems with spammers signing up,plus potential members couldn't even see into the Forum to read the Rules &...

Lightw4re, Then why do you have sections for Canadian coins,Canadian banknotes,& non-Canadian coins, but not for non-Canadian banknotes though? To me,that just doesn't make sense. No-one in their right mind mixes coin & banknote subjects together. I certainly wouldn't,considering that I do ru...

mith is right. Foreign = Everything about foreign currencies (coins and notes). I won't create any new category for now. Lightw4re, Mithandir isn't right,as there isn't a section for non-Canadian banknotes at all. I thought that you would have created such a section,& shifted my Zimbabwean bank...

This is the note Aidan's talking about. It was in an envelope with about 2 dozen world notes at my local auction a couple of years ago, and I was able to get the whole package for $15. It look like it had, at one time, at least two stamps on the back (and possibly as many as five). Aidan really see...

I have another 20.00 bill with serial alt8800088, would that be a radar, a rotator or a radar/rotator? Could you recommend a good book source for bill collectors? Stockand, That $20 note would be extremely popular in Asia, especially China & Hong Kong,as the number '8' is considered to be extrem...

Mithrandir, That's a very nice 5c. error coin that you've got there.I'm surprised that you found it on the extremely controversial auction website that is eBay (which I call FleaBay,as it is like an 800 lb. gorilla that has parasites in the form of scammers). Be extremely careful who you deal with u...
