Re: 1972 Bahamas $20 gold

NGC has it listed at 6.48 g also. It is possible that Numista made a typo or had the wrong info. I would go by the RCM weight as it is they who produced the coin. If you look at the chart you referenced, you will see that on different denominations that the weight varies from year to year. Not sure ...

Re: is this doubling

No, if it was a Doubled Die, the “ doubling” would be the same height as the lettering.

Re: 1 CENT 1897/7?

Looks more like damage.
If it was a DD, the 7 would be larger. There is a repunched 7 that year but that is not it.
Excellent photography though.

Re: RARE DISCOVERY 2023 CHARLES III Loonie, error or not?

The only way to remove a fingerprint is to clean it right away.
Once the print has been on there for awhile, it becomes etched into the coin and can't be removed.

That’s what happens when you don’t hold coins by the edge.

Not sure which lines you are referring to but if it is the lines on the second picture,
then those are die flow lines caused by a worn die. If it is something else then specify.
Also they are called “ Loonies” not Lonnies”

Sorry but that is not Doubled Die, looks like the start of Die Deterioration Doubling from a worn die.

Re: 2000 Family 25 cent

Not really worth too much. There were over 34 million minted.
Colonial Acres sells MS63 grades for 85 cents each so unless you
have something that grades MS 66 or better, then that’s what they are worth.

Re: 1965 50cent

Without a picture it is hard to tell what you have. There are different types of doubling.
Please provide a closeup of the 1 along side a picture of the whole coin.

Re: Coins

You didn’t really state what you wanted to know. It is a common coin with about 119 million
produced in 1936 alone. It is worth a couple of dollars in that condition.

Re: Weird 1998 Penny, head side blank tin colour

You don’t have to prove how it can be damaged, you have to prove what during the striking of the coin could cause it to be an error. There are only a limited number of things that can cause an error but countless things that can cause damage. What of the limited things do you think would cause this ...
