Re: 1966 Silver Dollar Small or Large Bead

Welcome to the Forum

It is a Large Bead and in that condition, it is only worth the value of the silver.

Re: Any ideas?

When a coin suffers damage, it is not always possible unless you were there at the time to determine the exact cause. It looks like the obverse of your coin was exposed to some sort of environmental damage.
The cause shouldn't really matter though, damage is damage no matter how iy happened.

Re: New Brunswick 1 cent variety?

There was a tall six and a short six for that year.
Looks like you have a short six over punching a tall six.
Can't help you as far as the variety goes Nice find, never seen this before.

Re: Accurate evaluation?

I have never seen that set before so I cannot give you a value but I can say that if you are trying to sell to a dealer, they will give you about 50-60% of the true value as they have to make a profit too. The problem with selling something like this is that there is not a big market for it except f...

Re: an anyone tell me What happened to this 25. cent coin

As I stated, unless you were there when it happened, it is hard to say exactly how it happened.
It doesn’t really matter as damage is damage whether it be glue, chrome or anything else.

Re: $10 bill issue of 2005 but printed in 2004??

That is a common prefix series with 50 million printed.
The value in uncirculated condition is about $15.00 so if it is circulated
it would only be worth face value.

Re: Silver 1999 Nickel

It has probably been broken out from a proof set which contained a silver nickel.
The proof sets had frosted devices on a mirror background.
It would be classed as an impared proof worth its value in the silver content.

Re: an anyone tell me What happened to this 25. cent coin

Hard to say exactly unless you were there at the time. It looks like glue or some other substance is on it. You could try soaking it acetone if you like. It won’t hurt the coin and may get rid of whatever it is. Instead of three photos the same of the Obverse, one of the Reverse would have been bett...

Value depends on condition , signatures and prefix so a picture of both sides is required

Re: $10 bill issue of 2005 but printed in 2004??

Don’t have Google so I can’t open your picture but I might be able to answer your question. The official day of issue was 18 May 2005. The printing date of these bills started in late 2004 so they would be ready for issue on that date. The printing date would change with each year. It is similar to ...

Re: 1 cent 1947 with error

How do you make a difference (visually) between a damage and an error? I explained this in my first post. Also if you are just getting into coin collecting, then I suggest you not waste your time looking for errors until you know what an actual error is and know the minting process. Also you will h...

Re: 1 cent 1947 with error

Welcome to the forum

That is not an error, it is damage from being struck with something.
It is only an error if it happens during the actual striking of the coin in the coining chamber.
Anything that happens to it once it has been ejected is considered damage.

Re: 2003 old effigy P

It all depends on the condition.
If it is circulated, it is worth a cent or two.
If it is MS, then it depends on the grade.

Save your money, it is not an error.
There is no way for that to happen during the printing of the sheet.

Re: 1973 2 dollar bill large b small b first serial number missing ink

Welcome to the forum

No added value for something so minor. It would be the same as a slightly overinked serial number.
