Coinace
They are all like that. It is the security radial lines that are put on them that give them their shine.
Yours is not any different from thousands of other ones.

Re: Canada Elizabeth coin has thunderstorm lighting strike attractive brilliant shade

Not sure what your asking or implying, it looks like a normal 2015 1 oz. silver bullion maple leaf.
It can’t be the ”highest grades, finest known” if it hasn’t been certified.
Right now bullion dealers are selling them for less than $45.00 Cdn.

Re: wondering what happened to these coins

Yes, they are the Tombac war nickels.
About 1/3 of 1942 and all of 1943 nickels were made from Tombac.
They were also the first of the 12 sided nickels

Re: Nickel, coin roll hunting

Welcome to the Forum It would cost more to get them certified than what they would be worth. They are all circulated so they are not worth much over face value. Sounds like someone turned in there collection of nickels. I used to give the 67 nickels to the kids at Easter and tell them it was the Eas...

Please explain what you see as an error.
All I see is a slight hit on the flag.

Sorry but that bill is in such poor condition that it would be impossible
to determine if it is genuine or altered.

Re: 1954 two dollar bill no serial numbers

Missing Serial Numbers can occur in any denomination. Unless the bill is in uncirculated condition, it is hard to prove whether it is an error or a modified bill. Grading companies will not verify that it is genuine if it has been circulated. Would still like to see a photo though. PS The mint produ...

Re: 2000 10 cents Partial collar?

It is a MAD (Misaligned Die). Not really off enough for a premium but you can keep
it as an example until a better one comes along

Agree with TBH
Those are known as Lawson-Bouey 2 letter prefix and with nearly 550 million printed, hold
no value over $2.00 unless in high uncirculated condition.

Re: $25 Fine Silver Wolf and pup Coin "O Canada Series"

If it is in the original capsule that you got from the mint, then it must have been silver. Since it has never been removed, then natural toning is the only answer. You can see the difference in colour compared to your gold bar. There are many gold plated coins out there that have were plated by a t...

Re: $25 Fine Silver Wolf and pup Coin "O Canada Series"

Welcome to the Forum
Is the other side gold or silver.
It looks like it has toned a gold colour which is possible
depending on the environment. It should have been silver
when it left the RCM. I have some 50 cent silver coins that
have toned a nice gold on one side.

Re: 2000 knowledge error

Yes, It is a small Die Chip which are fairly common. Also Die Chips are not an error.
There would probably be thousands more like this out there, depending on when they
pulled the die from service.
Maybe you could give it a name like the 1996 Die Chip "Cigar" or "Horn"
