Re: 1914 $10 Canada gold MS64+
I bought it from Silvergoldbull. In fact, I ordered (paid for) a MS64 PCGS and they sent me the MS64+. This was a few years ago. Shipping, plus taxes came up to just under $1700...it was a sale they had.

1914 $10 Canada gold MS64+
I was hoping someone may have a good range for me to consider the worth of this coin. I bought it with taxes for approx. $1700 a while ago, but this site does not give a + indication of worth. I am interested in the grading of the MS64+ vs the MS64. The difference in price here is huge between MS64 ...

Re: Availability of 50 Cent and Nickel Dollars at Banks in Canada
Typically, a $12.50 roll of Canadian 50 cent coins sells for 24.95 by the RCM...so if you get a Canadian roll of 50 cent coins for face value anywhere, I think you got a deal....

Re: pcgs graded gold coin
Thanks for your feedback. It is a beautiful coin and the holder issue is barely noticeable. I would have paid a couple of hundred more if I knew it was an MS64+.

pcgs graded gold coin
I just bought a 1914 $10 PCGS graded MS64 gold Canadian coin. It arrived today but it was actually a pcgs MS64+ graded coin that was sent to me by the store I buy from. With the naked eye, I did not notice any issues. Under 2x magnification I noticed 2 tiny edges that is used to lock in this slab wi...

Re: TTC tokens
You are probably right. I will just keep a couple...So with the demise of the cent and now the token, I think coinage and currency will be a thing of the past (people pay for stuff with credit cards and debit cards) in the future.

Re: 1912 $5 gold Canadian coin
Great info, thanks a lot. I am still looking for coins MS 63 or 64 in the years 1912 to 14 $5 to $10...but only the good deals (I am not interested in the really expensive grades). Based on this according to recent sales I paid about wholesale market rate. Also, since it contains 7.52grams of pure g...

Re: 1912 $5 gold Canadian coin
So the coin arrived today from J&M. It looks great. I checked the pcgs related auctions and I think I did good. I checked the melt value of gold, and I think I did well. Most important, unlike my other First Gold Canadian coin pcgs MS gold 1914 $10 coin, this is actually the earliest I have and ...

TTC tokens
I bought 3 rolls of tokens last December ($150 per roll). I am now aware that they are phasing out TTC tokens. By August they will no longer be selling tokens and by the end of the year they will no longer accept tokens as fare. The TTC is not giving a refund for unused tokens. Nor are they allowing...

Re: Where can I sell my $100 1976 Olympic Gold Coin?
Good luck, I tried selling a $200 Canadian gold proof coin, but was only offered melt value at a local store. I bought it because of the look but because of the difficulty selling it for near what I paid...I traded it for something I wanted with another person.

Re: Estate Coin & Bill Collection
I would be interested in any devil head $1 or $2 or $5 or $10 or $20 bills that are in vf or better condition but not the rare valuable ones (I can not afford them). Also any 1948 silver dollars. If you have any left let me know.
