Re: Value of Cdn Banknotes losing legal tender status

I hope you get more replies to this question in case I'm wrong but i believe your bank notes will always hold face vale when turned into a Bank , they will no longer be able to be use any where else.

Re: Canadian $2 note AUH series

You have a Crow/Bouey note. I'm not a good one to grade your note from the pictures I've seen but if you find the right buyer you might get a bit better then face but not much. Thats only one guys opinion!!!!!

Re: 1937 $50 Canadian Banknote Grodon Towers

Looks nice but hard to get a good read on it with the pictures you have provided, Maybe take it out of holder so the glare is gone. and try to get a sharper image.
not that i would give advice on a appraisal , there is a coin club in calgary. always a good place to look for info.

Re: Good morning, value?

To me it looks like Your bill has some staining and a pretty solid fold in it which takes away from its value but its still a bill that lots of collectors would be interested in. If you are in a area that might have a coin club it would be a good place to contact . they can possibly give you contact...

Re: The Value of my Canadian Bill's....HELP???

I have to agree with most comments that there isn't a lot of value in these bills , but please don't just take them to the bank as that will only result in them being destroyed. I true collector is probably looking for bills of that age in better condition, but a bill like those can be great starter...

Re: 1091 grams of silver is about 785.00 I think but are centennial coins worth more ?

dadhoards, a few days ago i was asking the question of how to tell a 1967 80% silver dime from a 50'% Bill in Burl indicated the drop test, the one with the highest pitch ring is the higher silver content. you might be able to get a better idea of how much silver you have there. And to your question...

Re: New circulating canadian $2

Had not noticed that "wiser3'
another tie in to the 1943 Tombac.
i prefer no color on coins but will probably try and get one for the collection if i get a chance.
Looking forward to the day that coin shows and 'in person" auctions are back.
