Re: Covid & border security
Glad to hear you are back on the bright side of the coin Bill....I have too many interests obviously but coins and photography and watercolour painting are still my favourites...I like many must frustrate you with the hit and miss attention to your comments...I've learned a lot in the last few month...

Re: 1965 CDN Cent ...Large Bead & Small
Thanks Bond...I was careful not to staple the cellophane when I put them in the flips...The other thing I discovered is that I don't have as many pointed 5's as I first thought...even though I was using a loop. I have a quite a few more to mount in flips..The reason for using the flips is that I cat...

1965 CDN Cent ...Large Bead & Small
I have quite a number of Small Bead, Pointed 5's that I just finished photographing...I remember as a kid I think I got these coins in a cello sealed wrap in a bag of chips or such like in 1965...I ate a bunch of chips it seems! All of these 1965's are Pointed 5's and I have two Large Beads Pointed ...

Ad interference on this site
I'm not sure these intrusive ads are benefiting (financially) Coinsandcanada or not... how do I get rid of them? If not so how do I at least minimize them...they interfere with the viewing space...I wouldn't mind if the ad was postage stamp size but they fill 1/2 the page...any solutions out there??...

Re: 1974 Canadian pennies, clipped and?
Alan T I have several clipped coins as well. I don't really have an opinion about them and trust Bill from Burl has referred to the expert and eventually we will get some feedback if you haven't already. I have the same question about condition (grades) although this site has an excellent tutorial o...

Re: HELP!!
Thanks I'll look for the attachment tab... I've discovered the dilemma of posting photos..the ads cover the options section where you see "attachments"...I got one glimpse ..posted a photo...did not post because I ended up with 4 photos of the same coin..tried to delete in the delete section and had...

HELP!!
I have a Mac Computer and have posted photos of coins in the past but I have a poor memory...would someone direct me to "how to upload a photo (of a coin)" on this site....the infringement of the ads that block the page is distracting but necessary...I have looked up "how to" but the directions have...

Re: Dime with end roll end markings.
The payphone or vending machine theory seems very plausible since I have too many to be anything but some sort of mechanical malfunctioning machine. (vending, phone or other) What is interesting is that some of these seem to have a screw mark in the centre of the coin...Dimes it seems are the only c...
