Re: Grading Unc $1 banknotes

Thank you, I am looking forward to checking your links. When I check them with a 10x loupe, they are pretty crisp but you can see very slight fuzz on a couple not visible to just the eye. Need to check your links to understand it. Thanks again.

Re: Grading Unc $1 banknotes

OK thank you, live in a small town and no shops or collectors here that I know of, so will have to make a trip. Mine are so perfect under a mag glass but you accurately point out the “untrained eye” component.

Grading Unc $1 banknotes

I have looked at the prices for the UNC $1 Centennial banknotes, but cant figure out how to determine the grading as there are several for UNC, i.e. UNC 60-67. Thanks for enlightening me.

$1 Canada coin 1968

I have several $1 coins 1968 sealed in cellophane from the Mint. Would they be graded better than just uncirculated?

Thanks, I have very little knowledge of coin collecting and appreciate your help.

Re: Melt Value Canadian silver 50 cent coins

Thank you all so much for clarifying my issue. I am on Vancouver Island. This site is a great help for those of us who are not knowledgeable about coin collecting values.

Melt Value Canadian silver 50 cent coins

I wonder if someone can comment on my efforts at selling approximately 150 Canadian 50 cent silver coins 1950's to 1967. It seems local buyers offer less than melt value with varying prices. Thanks for any suggestions.

Lucky Coin

A bit off topic, but is there a Canadian coin that some may say is lucky to have? Thanks.
