Yes, the colour is added after everything else is the same on each coin

These are Queen Elizabeth royal tours, 1 crown, gold clad coins. At the base of the back of her hair, there is what looks like a crack on each coin in the same spot. Thought I would share. I found this coin from what I can tell. It looks like acid damage, but when I look at the E in cent it look like mint damage. Also, the damage is not in the same direction on both sides .When I put it on the table, it does not sound like other nickels. It sounds like a different Planchet and it weig...

Not quite sure what kind of planchet it would be. Doesn't quite fit in the collar. But could be damage I guess.
