It would be lovely if there was an easy solution to get rid of them all and appropriately punish people for sharing them. remove from the cardboard flip for the best photos - there is some marking that could be on the coin or on the plastic.

If the coin was stored in a wood box, especially oak, it could also turn colour., especially because of the mint coating. The plastic holder isn't air tight. I wrote about this talking about a squirrel coin the mint put out in this forum too.

It does look like an odd coin. It would be a planchet issue. It is not a silver colour, so it would not be accidentally done on a dime planchet. It is likely that the metal stripping used to punch the planchet had some thin spots and this coin was punched from there. Alternatively, it could have bee...
