The missing beads are caused by a partially grease filled die.
Not uncommon and there would be more the same as this out there.

That is a Small Date. The Large Date is closer to the rim.

2 2022 Coins

I have a 2022 with what I'm assuming is a die chip (photo 1) and another one that is missing (has lightly struck) beads on the edge (photo 2). I'm assuming that maybe some dirt or something got stuck in the die. I know that the first can be common, but I haven't seen a coin with that many missing/li...

1953 Small Date?

Is this a 1953 Small Date? I can't find any examples of the small date and the edging is different than the example of the Large Date in price guide.
