Oldest one I have handy is 2018 (Charlton), it was corrected at least a couple of years ago (indicates UP/UP rarer of the two varieties).

Re: Coin Collection, Do I have anything good here?
Agree with the previous posts. Some are relatively rare but don’t hold much demand unless in high grade or are of a rare variety. Always compare the current numismatic value (look at current sales, eBay is a good gauge when looking at sold amounts) vs the bullion value to get its true value. With th...

Re: 1968 Dime Premium
DarkSki, Remember that the values listed are suggested numismatic values based on the corresponding grade. Therefore if someone wanted to sell/buy a coin based on that condition they can use these amounts as a 'reference'. When there's a dash it usually represents either its face value or its bullio...

Looked into this a while ago. All of the previous comments are correct from my research in the past. Personally think you're looking at the same dime just the one on the right has more wear

Re: What you collect and why
Personally I like collecting a bit of everything, especially raw ungraded bills and coins. Professional grading takes away from the collecting aspect and the natural interpretation the hobby needs, in my opinion anyways. As for reference for Canadian notes (coins too), I use the Charlton Standard Ca...

Re: Estate collection/accumulation- seeking advice
Hi, We have dealt with a number of large collections. Each one has its own set of challenges as each will contain their own unique set of items. It’s really just a matter of looking at the current market for each item (i.e. what people are paying right now for them) as well as the time you’re lookin...

I have a number of them too and none of them look like that. To me it's almost as if them entire coin at some point was compressed? How does it compare in dimensions?

Re: Where are the posts?
Totally get what you are both saying. It's a difficult time and going to be this way for a while. I don't want to take away from from the hardships we're all facing but we need to make sure that we continue to stay mentally strong, with almost everything shut down there's only so much we have in our...

Appreciate all of the input. I've looked at all of the known details too, leaning more towards NH1, tough one though, for me anyways

Re: 1976 Olympic silver 28 piece folder/stamp
Yeah I wouldn't expect him to get paid over scrap, if he does, the amount won't be worth the effort. To be honest, take it from someone who buys a lot, most of these guys preach about buying based on spot either have no clue about numismatics, know a little but think they know a lot, know enough but...
