Re: Valuation Guides
I would submit that the Charlton Standard Catalogue to Canadian Government Paper Money is a widely recognized and respected publication.

Thanks,

Re: 1974 $2 Banknote - Low Serial
I can't determine if there are any blemishes. In perfect pristine condition a two-letter prefix note, such as this RD is worth $12-15. No doubt this one carries extra premium because of the low number, although I do not know how much more. Anything else you want to know about the note...or just the ...

Re: 2003 100$ bills BKE
My apologies. I missed the insert range BKE 2.475-2.835. That makes much more sense. Sorry about that.
My Charlton 2020 book lists $275 for Choice and $310 for Gem. Trending the wrong way unfortunately.

Re: Rotator Radar or Just a Radar?
A radar number is the same read forwards or backwards...like the letters in the word R A D A R. e.g 2334332 or 8760678. A rotator number is the same when the note is right side up or upside down.(Sometimes known as a S W I M S note). For 7 digit numerical serial numbers the middle digit must be a 0 ...

Re: 2003 100$ bills BKE
Hi,
Your $100 BKE notes appear to be a common variety. Book value appears to be about $150, which in reality means you may have a tough time finding a buyer above $120...unless I have overlooked something.
Do you mind if I ask why you chose to have those 15 notes graded?
Craig

Hi Vince,
Thanks for sharing. Book value for those F/P notes is $8-10. They are pretty common.
I can't comment on your shinplaster.

Surprise!
It looks like the 1s could be worth even more. Book value says approx $300. You may not be able to sell for that but it's a guideline.

Re: What is this 20 Dollar Bill
It looks to me like someone has run it through a date stamp machine, or something similar. It's not part of the banknote as printed, therefore no additional value.
Thanks for sharing.

Re: $2.00 bill complete uncut sheet
Assuming it is in pristine condition, the signatures and three letter prefix would be useful information.
The common varieties are worth about $150. If your prefix ends in X, then its worth a little more.

This appears to be a stock image from BoC. They commonly use that prefix in artwork images. Am I wrong?

GBELEC you are bang on. It's too bad there is a lot of mis-information, many times coming from bank employees.

I'm interested in the $10. Have you got a wider angle picture.

Looks like a regular note to me that was on a table when someone was writing with multi-copy paper or something similar. Regular prefix.

Re: 1954 cdn 1 dollar bill no serial number
Certainly looks unusual. Perhaps a little faded...implying the numbers have been removed. How does the back look?
