Re: The 1964 dot Penny.

Well, some selling prices on ebay, and even more so hibid auctions are shocking me, but the old saying "it's worth whatever someone's willing to pay" rings true.

Re: 1954 cdn 1 dollar bill no serial number

Here is another one, picked up this week, it's very rough, but not ripped. The right side is faded bad, but the microprinting on the left is showing no signs of tampering, had a few of these over the years, the bill in the earlier post appears to look genuine to me.I will likely submit this one to b...

73 Quarter what causes this?

On the reverse, from about 3 to 6 oclock, a matte or frosted appearance field. It etends in to the 9 of 1973. The date seems unaffected. Thanks for any input.

Darren, as for value, it really comes down to what someone is willing to pay for it.

Re: Real values? Ebay a huge bargain?

Just saying that it is shocking to see this coin, value say 13.00 now at $26.00 And a pl 1964 dollar (it was advertised as pl) and sold for $49.00! And a 1 pound bag of unsorted pennies $2.00 worth, sell for $19.00. Maybe the trending values, based off ebay sales are very low.

Re: Real values? Ebay a huge bargain?

It is a ontario auction, and in canadian dollars. This is not an exception, happening often. As for condition, this is a screenshot, on the site, better, and expandable pictures.

Re: 1895 vicky errors x 3 ?

Absolutely! I couldn't put it better. I am reading there is 200+ combinations. Been through 25, the most intriguing is a wide break at 7 and 13 plus no stems at all, at 6, 8, and 10 thanks. Scott.

Re: 1895 vicky errors x 3 ?

I would not be very good with "close" and a bit "closer" but I look for that research. Spent the afternoon researching 1859 stems and vines. I love it! Have some to check soon. Thanks for your time!

Re: 1895 vicky errors x 3 ?

Bill thanks for all the valuable insight. The erratic date is not too suprising , I had no more 95's to compare to. Being new , where can I find griffin? A book? to look at the date variety's? I removed this coin, a picture is attached with a calibrated veneer.1.003 and it is consistent all around. ...

1895 vicky errors x 3 ?

Hi everyone, thanks for looking at this post. My pics are poor but, 1) no denticles on obverse and an excessively wide rim. 2) traces of denticles on reverse. 3) a crack just ahead of, and over the R in regina, rough edges, as if a split. 4) date, the 8 and especially the 9 are high at the bottom of...

Re: A 1 ounce .999 ont. 1977 silver jubilee medallion?

It's 31.098g sillver 100%. Although it's not showing in my lousy pictures, the province of ontario side is toning a nice brown and gold with blueing around the edge. I know what you're saying, seen tons in a cello pack on ebay, all aluminum. Just like to find out how they were sold, and how many are...
