Hopefully he will see this and comment on it as for pricing I think $150.00 + for these if graded probably mo...

Re: 1917 - 1, 10, 25 & 50 cents

That's a nice set of high grade coins I would think maybe in the MS-64+ area, the 50 cent if it is a rim ding might be graded AU detailed by some grading companies

Re: Is NGC better than ICCS

I'm in favor of PCGS graded coins over all other graders for Canadian coins. I have sent in several ICCS + NGC graded coins to PCGS many come back Detailed (cleaned), (scratch) (Rim Dings) as the other two graders (ICCS) + (NGC) don't make note of these Details. So for me PCGS is #1 for grading Cana...

Re: 1859 Canada large cent.

I agree Bill is correct in his answer no DP9's or 9/8 but you should still check out the Haxby site not only will it tell you what you have in the 1859 coins its fun to track the die down. the die cracks and dp letters really help anyway Happy Hunting

Re: 1859 Canada large cent.

If you could provide a complete picture of the Reverse it would help greatly to help you identify your 1859's, if the forum needs the Obverse to help they might ask for them as well. It helps to see all the key markers of a coin when identifying certain coins.
Thanks Jim
