I have a bunch of older Canadian Coins laying around, a lot of Silver. I figured I would post a few of them, and see what everybody here thinks, and if there is anything worthwhile? I have a bunch more, these are just a portion. Thanks!

Don't really see anything outstanding and because of the condition, most of the silver coins except for the 1907 quarter wouldn't be worth much over bullion . The quarter might be worth 5-6 dollars.
The cent and the nickels might be worth 25-30 cents each. The problem is if you are trying to sell them as they are all fairly common and most collectors would want them in in higher grades.
If you are starting to collect coins, then they would be a good start and you could upgrade them later.

Thanks CoinGuy, I appreciate your feedback. Yes I'm just going through some coins I had, I'm still learning quite a bit about the Numismatic side of coins. I've been more into Silver for many years, but have become interested lately in collecting coins. Thanks again, and I'll post some more pics if I find anything interesting.

The devil's in the details. Most of the heavily circulated silver and nickel from 1935 - 1960 is not that a valuable but there are some exceptionally rare and variable coins in there nevertheless. There are things to watch out for like the 1936 dot varieties as one example but what you need is a solid list of what those varieties are. You should be able to find many of the listed on this site. The more coins you've got, the greater the chance that you've got something valuable.

I just went through an old collection of ~1,000 silver coins from that era. Most of them are bullion only but there were a few rare surprises. This included a very nicely toned 50c and $1 - both at high grade and also two 1973 25c "large bust", both in mint state. I've recently hooked the owner of the collection up with a dealer who can sell it all (or melt it) - expecting to net a few thousand bucks.....

Agree with the previous posts. Some are relatively rare but don’t hold much demand unless in high grade or are of a rare variety. Always compare the current numismatic value (look at current sales, eBay is a good gauge when looking at sold amounts) vs the bullion value to get its true value. With the common stuff you will find them relative to bullion value

Great coins for a beginner and starting a collection, if you are not going to collect, maybe donate them to a kid's coin club where some young numismatists can enjoy !!!
