1967 1 Cent DDRs and DDOs

Post by dalihbt » Mon Jun 15, 2020 3:29 pm

Hi, I have another roll of 1967 Pennies with some doubling as well. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have about 5 more with some lighter doubling on the face and lettering, the above to are samples of the heavier doubling (If that is what it is)

Without seeing the lettering, I'd say Mechanical/machine doubling (MD) with die deterioration doubling. Both are errors, not DD's.

Agree with Bill
Devices are reduced with a shelf like appearance which equals MD
