I have had this coin for many years and just haven't thought about it until a few days ago when I rediscovered it along with a few other coins. It belonged to my parents. As far as I know it's always been in this wrapping and I have been fascinated by it since I was a child wondering why can't we spend it?

I've looked at the site and think I have some idea of it's value, but really I don't. The only thing I saw was that the I in Regina is pointed straight at a dot and that's the difference as far as I can understand.

There is tarnish/oxidization from what I can see. It's never been out of this small packaging.

I would be most appreciative is someone could educate me on this particular coin.
Is it worth keeping or better to sell? If I sold it, where could I do so?

Yours is not the rare small beads variety.
It is not exceptionally high grade.
It is a bullion value item worth about $20.
Silver prices fluctuate so it's value isn't stable.
You have to watch the price of silver and decide when it is best for you to sell.
If it's a family heirloom maybe you should just keep and pass it on.

Don't just "cash it in". It is worth $20 Cdn (approx $15 US or nearly so) to a coin person who collects scrap silver to resell. Every face dollar, regardless the denominations, has .6 troy oz of silver. The current silver price for pure Ag is $25.13 US, so that's about $15 US.
