1947 five cent piece

Hello, I have a couple of 5 cent coins, and it looks like it has a dot on it? I cannot seem to attach photos to this site, is there somewhere I can sent a copy to , to find out if worth anything? Thank you..

Depends where the dot is, it could have some value.

thank you for reply. the dot is by the 7 , it almost looks like a star. but as mentioned I cant seem to attach photos on this site

If it looks like a star, it is probably the 1947 maple leaf, not a dot.
The dot variety looks like a small pinhead.
There were nearly 10 million of these minted which is more than the
regular 1947 so they are pretty easy to come by.
