Calgary stampede coins

Post by CarmieG » Thu Aug 22, 2024 12:28 pm

I’ve been trying to find information the above mentioned coins plus a Winnipeg.
All are in protective cases that are a bit scratchy but the coins are in pristine condition.
Can anyone tell me where to search as I’m have no luck. Also, any photo taking advise
would be appreciated.
Photos are a sample of collection.

Thank you,
CarmieG

What info do you want/need? Go to CoinsandCanada to get a little info. If it's prices that you want, go to Ebay and type a search. Then go to "advanced" in upper right corner of the search page, then scroll down to "sold" items. You will find out what has sold when and how much. Neither coin has done much; postage probably about the same as coin worth.

If you are getting into Canadian coins, suggest buying a Charlton Catalogue on Canadian Coins.
There are two different volumes, #1 is for standard circulation strikes and #2 is for Collector
Issues which would be where you would find your coins. They don’t have to be new issues as
unless you are interested in more modern coins. To help on your two commemorative dollars,
they are both 50% silver.
