Strange Small Coin? Identification
Strange Small Coin? Identification
Anyone have an idea what this little thing might be? In a 2x2 for scale. The other side is completely unidentifiable which makes me kind of lean toward it being an old metal button, but I haven’t been able to find any buttons that match it either, so on the off chance it’s a coin I figured I’d try here

I was thinking of widows mite reproduction that they give kids in church. But not sure. I posted it on another site where there’s a lot of members to see what they have to say. See http://www.realcent.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=45074

A member over at realcent said it’s a Cambodia, 19th century Fuang or 1/2 Fuang.

Wow, awesome, thanks for the replies. I searched for freakin hours and hours online trying to find “small duck coin”, “old coin with bird” and the like, tried Coinoscope, everything I could think of and no luck. That’s cool, I’ll do a bunch of reading on it and figure out exactly what I’ve got since there appears to be a lot of varieties of this coin.
