Silver colored 1950 one cent USA

Post by Sandini2323 » Wed Nov 30, 2022 11:19 pm

I don't remember where I got this but it is a one cent USA coin. 3.2 grams. Sadley it has been drilled. Is it a real coin?

It is a real coin that has been plated and drilled to bed used for a piece of jewellry
It is now damaged and has no value beyond face.

As coinguy says, it's plated. Many of old (even 19th century) coins that have 2 holes were used as a replacement for a button on a shirt or pants.
