A filled in mint mark is not an error, it is caused by a broken post and is common on P & D mintmarks.
The rim is damage from taking a hit. There is some Die Deterioration which you may be confusing
for Doubling. There were over 480 million 1982 D quarters produced so they are not rare. The only
ones that would have much value would be those in the high MS range. Don’t go by the prices you see on
eBay or Etsy, they are full of scammers with overpriced coins trying to find a sucker. If you want to see
what a circulated 1982D quarter is worth, go by the sold prices.

I never said it was rare..lol
I'm only asking a question regarding the aprox value of this one so I can get a idea on how properly distinguish the avorage from the not so avorage and wonder why everyone and there dog and cat that have a eBay account can charge such ridiculous amounts for the exact same thing that 480 million others have the in there pockets and it's outragouse that they are aloud to do that because it hurts the newbies that want to get into collecting anyways ..
All I'm asking is more knowledge that will help me organize my growing collection.
I value your opinion thank you and just a side note maybe try be a little light on the new comers becouse as for me I don't collect for profit I collect becouse it keeps me from going crazy again and its all I have that keeps me from doing something that I no longer want to do and I really enjoy it and when someone that had we look up to pretty much talkes to us like we're not intelligent or comes across as we're waisting yur time and sound alittle anoid. It's really hurts .. thanks for your times and opinion it means alot .. thank you very much ..

That is how we like to be spoken too ..
Have a wonderful day and thank you again..

I agree with all that "coinguy" gave to you. It's a common coin with little to no premium. It is also not "high grade" that you have on the holder
