2012 Alaska state quarter with what looks like doubling. Any thoughts about this would be a great help. Thank you in advance.

That is Incuse Machine Doubling, ( another worthless type of doubling) very common in that series, in fact there is someone who took a survey and found that over 60% of coins in that series had this type of doubling.
