Slowly going through all my pennies. Found a 1951 Canadian(see attachment) not sure how to describe properly, but I can see what looks to me as 2 impressions of the kings face the original then just offset a bit another from some kind of abrasion maybe? My question is would this be a type of error any of you might know of, or is this possibility something post minting that occured to penny.
To all on this forum you guys are great, very knowledgeable in hobby and I appreciate any feed back....thank you so much

It's damage, not an error, but it does look interesting.

Is the "other image" raised or recessed? If raised, I would say glue from another Obverse tacked to this one.

Can you post a picture of the whole coin, both sides?

It looks like it may be double struck with a flipping of the coin in between strikes, looks like an “O” in front of the nose and maybe an “E” behind the ear.

There’s something going on with this coin that doesn’t look like PMD to me.

Wow the people on this forum know there stuff. Bill in burl idk if it was wax, probably. I was able to remove it however. Good call and thank you.

Bond632 I'm attaching pics of both sides of the coin. Heads up there are 2 little black spots on my device I cannot seem to remove them. So hopefully they're not to much of a distraction and I hope the pics are good enough for you to see or not see what you thought from first image.

Again thanks for the feedback appreciate it.

P.s. I just bought a sealed bankers box on eBay tonight, so forward to that showing up
