1859 1 cent is it brass ?

Hello can anyone help me I have this 1 cent 1859 and think it is brass let me know what you think....

What makes you think it is brass?
You can’t go by the colour.

It's a normal bronze 1859 that has been cleaned and has some wear. There are any number of cleaning agents under the kitchen sink that make the bronze large cents more "yellow" in color. Actually a REAL brass 1859 isn't really yellow anyway. You've got a coin worth a couple bucks and was struck late in the mintage year by all the sections of the vine that were missing due to the dies wearing out.
