Welcome to the forum
We need the weight to two decimal points.
If it was struck on a dime planchet, it would not be fully formed or struck as a dime has a
smaller diameter and is thinner. The weight should tell the story. Just looks like a plated cent.

2.00 g exactly or does your scale not record decimals. It is necessary when weighing coins that
the scale records to two decimal points. What type of scale are you using.

It is just a surfeit kitchen scale I would have to get a more accurate measurement, I took it to a coin shop they weighed it and immediately wanted to send it in to get graded. They said of the ones they were sending in this one was the most interesting, if that means anything, they weighed it against a 1984 penny and said it was almost identical? Not sure what that all means?
