1953 Nickel

Please provide any information on the attached photos of 1953 nickel, i don't understand the difference of far and near, small spot on front missing plating and 2 areas on rear missing plating. Any value?

This site has pictures in the coin section under 1953 five cents that will explain it for you. I would say SF Near, unsure if it is missing plating or just worn off. The scratches will take away from the value.

In the future, please crop your photos to enlarge them , we don't need to see all that background. When pictures are that small, it is hard to see the detail.
From what I can see, it looks like a SF Near variety.
In that condition with the missing plating and scratches, it would not be worth much, maybe 25 cents if you can find someone to buy it. That is a common variety and there are just too many out there in better condition.
