1937 dot double date

Post by TheCashier1812 » Mon May 24, 2021 7:16 pm

Found this coin when I first started working as a cashier it was in my tip jar.
Was able to see the double date with a 10x and on the other side I noticed these lines near the forehead and nose; isn't scratches because you'll be able to see the difference between the two.

Not able to post the photos from my phone so I'll have to post them when I get home.

All the result of very worn dies.
Interesting but not valuable.

Agree with TBH
Caused by Die Deterioration.
The result of using dies that should have been retired.
