I found this "Fish Hook" feature on the 1921-2021 dime. I went through a mint box and ended up with two rolls of this feature in the exact same location. It has positive relief and is located by the El of Elizabeth. Does anyone have thoughts as to what could cause this?
I'm thinking it must be something with the die in order to have positive relief and produce two rolls of this exact same feature.

Re: 1921-2021 with "Fish Hook"
It looks like it may be a die gouge. Something has scratched or gouged the die causing an impression.

The RCM coins coming out of the mint’s Winnipeg facility have horrific quality control issues. Look at any coin after 2001 and most will have issues.
