2021 specimen quarter.

Post by Newt01 » Fri Feb 24, 2023 6:28 pm

Hey everyone. Seems as though the 2021 specimen sets somewhere around #172 threw 1#12272 have a bad offset die error on the 25 cent. Not sure where to put that so here it is. Not sure how to post pictures either. Seems to be a hard form to figure out….

The 2021 specimen quarter reverse side has an offset die error not listed in coins and Canada... I’d post a photo on here if I knew how. But it just about missed the coin all together on that side. There’s even die damage on the bottom half of the edge where the die edge hit the coin.

If it is only on one side, it is called a Misaligned Die.
There has to be part of the lettering or numbers missing to have any value.
Really need a picture to say for sure.
