1944 Near Hoof Crack

Shows a part of the die missing. The coin also has a clash line on the left side. VF+

A well-known error. During the war, the mint used dies until they physically wore out, because steel was being used for tanks, guns, armament, etc and not a whole lot left for making new dies.
