I recently purchased a 1963 Canadian dollar listed as Extra Water Line variety. I can find no references to an EWL 1963 Dollar. Have I been taken or is there such a variety.

As far as I know, there is no such thing as an EWL on any year Canadian Silver Dollar.
I have seen some listings claiming an EWL under the canoe, but that is part of the design.
Exactly where is the seller claiming the EWL is?

Turns out the 1963 Dollar is a 1968 Dollar. Mislabeled by the seller. Also mislabeled was the EWL, as it is a Double Horizon lines

Are you going to return it then?
Don't forget, the 1963 Dollar is silver and the 1968 is nickel.
The 1968 unless in high a MS grade is only worth a couple of dollars at most.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it.

I will keep it as it is the Double Horizon variety and it is interesting. I paid 12.50 for it.
